House Removals Fun

This customer had a picture that looked just like one of the team!

We enjoy what we do in our line of work and never pass on the chance to have a giggle. Our House Removals Fun category is dedicated to the lighter side of our work and contains the joys and giggles that we have during our days in the field. We do see all sorts of crazy and funny things on our travels which we’ll share with our site visitors.

One of the team thought it was great when he found an empty picture frame on a recent removal and posed for a picture of him filling the frame!

Note Hull’s ‘Old Town’ in the back-drop!

Who needs a van?

Funny little car and trailer

Is this trailer actually bigger than this car?

This young lady certainly doesn’t! We were carrying out a house removal over to South Wales in Spring 2015 when we came across this little sight. I suppose when you have a luggage compartment the size of a shoe box you will need some extra room! This tickled us so we got a pic for our followers. I wonder how much the Monstermove Removals Hull team could fit into that trailer? Bearing in mind, when we need to, we can get the contents of a one bed flat into a fridge so I’d say we could definitely make a journey with this trailer worthwhile!

House removals fun – Removal Tip #8

House removal tip #12

Great advice for movers!

We’re always open to suggestions and advice but this one had us giggling. And it is very true! Sometimes we get asked if a customer can travel in the van with us to their new home and our answer is always the same –
“So long as you don’t mind being trapped in the cab with two hard-working (and sweaty) house removal men then that’s fine!”
Needless to say, if a house removal man is doing his job properly then he is bound to have a sweat on. Carrying several pieces of heavy furniture in and out of the van, up and down the stairs certainly does take it’s toll on the fresh smelling man that left for work that morning. The way I see it, and this is what I say to the team – If you’re not sweating, you’re not working hard enough! It’s a tough job but hey, someone has to do it and we all wear our uniforms with pride.

We are loved

It's nice to be loved

We love Monstermove House Removals Hull

Graffiti is not usually a good thing. One day we set out for work and we found that someone had written some little notes on one of our removal vans. The message read “I love you”. We can only hope that it was intended for us and if it was; then it is surely due to our excellent house removal skills :p
